Brickstream acquires in-store analytics company NOMi

Atlanta based company Brickstream, known for their behavior intelligence solutions and retail analytics, has acquired NOMi.

Founded in 2012, NOMi  brings online marketing to in-store businesses, helping them determine what campaigns and marketing strategies bring in the most customers and purchases.

NOMi company executives said being acquired by Brickstream will ensure the alliance is strong asset to the in-store analytics arena. Brickstream has installed more than 100,000 in-store camera devices for analytic purposes, which will benefit NOMi, who’s analytics tools will help Bricksteam’s overall approach. In the past 3 months, the companies have already signed 32 joint clients.nomi

The acquisition has also brought about some structural changes, with NOMi CEO Marc Ferrentino becoming chief marketing officer, and co-founder and chief revenue officer Wesley Barrow will take on the head of new business and strategic markets role. Brickstream CEO Steve Jeffrey will keep his current position.

The new unit will have a total of 110 employees, and all NOMi employees will remain with the company post acquisition. In addition, they will remain in their current NYC office, and products will still be sold under the NOMi name.
